About The Image

Here the viewer is confronted by a mixture of photographic figures and illustrated figures. Their mixture and arrangement creates a visual commentary on the state of female and male roles in a male dominated structure. The highly graphic nature of the symbols and mixture of photographic and illustrative sources holds the viewer’s attention in the frame, forcing them to examine even the smallest features. ML
