About The Image
Here through the abstraction of the figure and the pose mimicking the twisted form of the tree, a conversation regarding the female objectified as an element of nature can begin. As before, the choices in abstraction, obscuring of the face and any details that provide information beyond the gender of the figure, force the viewer to deal with the individual in the frame as an object and not an individual.
