About The Image

In this piece the form is abstracted to such a degree due to the perspective and line of shadow that the sexual identity of the figure is almost impossible to determine. Yet because of the severity of the abstraction, forcing the figure further into an object, the viewer is forced to identify the gender through social convention of flowing legs and smoothly shaved skin.
